Just Another Sunday

He sings Jingle Bells and knows how to act according to what you tell him. Say, "you cry" and he acts it out. Say "read" and he reads with his own language we could not even understand. Say "sing" and he sings again, with his language. We sing the local song with the introduction "look up, look up..." and he says with matching dance, "shake shake shake!"

Good Morning Siegfried

2013-11-21 07.56.42As soon as he woke up he told me to get him the books he saw on the shelf. He sat down on the bed and started flipping the pages of the book. I love his idea of mornings--my mornings at that matter.

Wednesday Day Out

Late post night. Here is my happy son on a Wednesday Day Out with me and my mom. :) No edits, just clean uploads. :)

Siegfried with The C's

Last Sunday, November 17, 2013. Went out with The C's. Who are they? The Cabaluna Family. My hubby's family. Had lunch at Shakey's for a relative's birthday and these are Jon Siegfried's moments with them.

Starbucks Baby

This is Sieg drinking steamed milk at Starbucks and taking his morning nap. What could be more fascinating than watching him grow with Starbucks? And to think that we are connected to the coffee shop because of a yearly journal. I love the idea of having my kids reading my daily details through a Starbucks Planner.

Goop With Dad

Siegfried with his dad played with goop! Unfortunately it's colorless. We weren't able to buy food coloring because of the excitement of playing with it.

Playing The Guitar With Gramma

Playing The Guitar With Gramma on a sunny morning makes up our day.

I didn't know my mom knows how to play the guitar. She visited us one time and Siegfried just can't take the guitar off his hands so mom grabbed it and started playing with Siegfried on her lap. There's a video on this and you can hear mom singing random English and native songs. But due to our low internet connection as of this moment I could not upload it. But I will surely post it later.

My Little Champ loves to write and or draw! :) These are some of his artworks. Of course the other drawings: the car, the bear, and the obvious things are drawn by me or his father. So these are like our activity boards. This is one of our most precious bonding moments.

Waking Up with Sieg

goodmorningWe woke up today at 3am and Sieg does not stop crying. I tried to calm him with his rhymes but he does not like to watch them. I tried to feed him but he does not want to eat. I brought him his toys but he threw them. I sang "Rain, rain Go Away" and he fell asleep. But after five minutes he woke up again crying louder than before. I gave up and let him sit on the chair in front of the computer with a pillow on his back. I played the movie: Thor: Legend of The Magical Hammer. He stopped crying and watched it silently. After thirty minutes he fell asleep. I carried him back to bed at past 4am. He then woke up again at 8:15am and look at that face above!!! Hahahaha!!! :)

Beside My Sleeping Baby, I Sat Down and Wept

sleeping babyHe was asleep when we arrived at the mall yesterday, August 16,2013. I cannot carry him around when he's sleeping. I entered Chowking Fast food to lay him down on the sofa. I stayed  there for almost two hours just waiting for him to wake up. I had a snack while and regret that I did not bring any pen and paper with me. *pout* Anyways just sitting there, watching him sleep, listening to the crowd chitchat, and thinking deeply in silence made me decide to start writing and drawing and reading a lot more which means a 100 times more than what I am already doing and to be more responsible in everything. Beside my sleeping son, I sat down and wept.

Being a mom--a very young mom at that matter--takes a whole universe to fight with, to fight for, and to strive living normally between everyone. Life was, is, and never will be easy for a young mother to take everything on her shoulders. We have a lot to think about, a lot of things to cope with, a lot of strings to reconnect in our circle, and a lot of emotions to deal with. What more if a young mom gives birth to two kids without Life Stability (which I mean is stability in everything)? Well, everything will be tougher and the road will get rough but never forget that you have your man and your first kid to hang on to and smile for each and every day of your life.

When Sieg woke up we strolled a bit and landed at Quantum! Oh look at that! His face is always serious when he rides a car. It's like he's not enjoying it but actually he is because if he isn't he would be walking away from the cars and calling me. Oh sweet child of mine... He takes my breath away... Haha. :)
